Thank you to all who supported
the 9th Annual Turkey Plunge
The ninth annual Salvation Army Turkey Plunge was yet again a success, raising $16,969.19 to help those in the Lakes Region who are in need.
Twenty-four teams, making up 160 plungers, many of whom were
dressed up in wacky costumes, hit the frigid waters of Lake Opechee Saturday morning in an effort to raise money for the cause.

The money raised will go to various programs, as well as help with The Carey House, which is the only homeless shelter in the Lakes Region.
This is the biggest fundraiser for the Laconia Salvation enabling them to continue programs and help those in need in the community.
