The Salvation Army Metropolitan Division is participating in
the 2014 Bank of America Chicago Marathon and so can you!
We are looking for team members who support our mission of
“Doing the Most Good". So, we invite you to join our
"Running for Good" marathon team and 'fund-race' with us
The Salvation Army makes an impact each and every day on three
critical local issues—homelessness, violence and education. We are
the largest direct provider of social services, serving more people and
offering the broadest array of critical social services than any other
nonprofit organization. We touched more than 1.5 million lives in 2013.
Join our “Running for Good” team and help us make an even larger
impact in 2014. Our ‘Fund-Racers’ will raise money to support
The Salvation Army’s charitable work throughout Chicagoland.
The Bank of America Chicago Marathon is one of the largest
races in the world. Imagine running 26.2 miles through the city of
Chicago, knowing each stride you take will help provide assistance for
individuals in need. We will be here to support you in your fundraising
and training efforts, every step of the way.
To do this, we’ve partnered with Kopf Running this year to offer our
‘Fund-Racers’ a customized training program, weekly training and
nutrition tips, “Ask the Coach” phone/email support and race day
course support. So whether you you are a first time runner or veteran
marathoner, there is a spot for you on our team.
Thank you for supporting The Salvation Army Metropolitan Division.
