The Salvation Army makes an impact each and every day
on three critical local issues—homelessness, violence and
education. We are the largest direct provider of social services,
serving more people and offering the broadest array of critical
social services than any other nonprofit organization.
We touched more than 1.5 million lives in 2013.
Our “Running for Good” team is helping us make an even larger
impact in 2014. Our ‘Fund-Racers’ are raising money to
support The Salvation Army’s charitable work throughout Chicagoland.
The Bank of America Chicago Marathon is one of the largest
races in the world. Our team will run 26.2 miles through the
city of Chicago, with each stride supporting our mission to
provide assistance for individuals in need. YOU can encourage
them by making a donation today!
Thank you for supporting The Salvation Army Metropolitan Division.
