The Salvation Army is helping people in all aspects of life. Yes, we are providing food to the hungry. We are providing nights of shelter. We are providing after school tutoring programs. We give music lessons to youth. We provide a safe place for seniors to meet, dine, and have social activities. We go out to the homeless and provide life's necessities. We give underprivileged children a scholarship for a week at our summer camp in Big Bear. We provide encouraging programs for people in recovery to continue their growth. We provide drug and alcohol programs for people who have only a hope at grasping at life. The list goes on and on.
The Salvation Army cares about families at Thanksgiving and Christmas. We want to share joy with even the most hurting of our neighbors. We want children to know the thrill of feeling cared for and special.
Thank you for helping us give Christmas to those in need.
